Triple P – Level 3 for Primary Care Providers

Triple P – as offered by VMAP – is designed for Virginia medical providers who work in primary care with early childhood patients and their families. You will learn how to teach simple and practical behavior management skills to support parents of your patients, including how to build healthy relationships with their child, confidently manage their child’s behavior, and prevent problems from developing.

Triple P participants will gain knowledge and experience in:

  • Child social, emotional, and behavioral problems
  • Risk factors for the development of social, emotional, and behavioral disorders
  • The levels of Triple P
  • Theoretical and empirical basis for Triple P
  • Self-regulatory framework
  • The role of Triple P as a population approach to parenting support
All applications will be reviewed for potential participation. You will receive confirmation if you’ve been selected to participate after further review.
